Environment Policy

With a background of Countryside and Woodland Management it comes as no surprise that Talisman Tree Care believe in minimising negative environmental impacts and endeavour to have a positive effect on the environment through their operations, wherever possible. Whether that's through the use of the most modern and efficient technologies available blended with traditional management techniques or ensuring that we reduce waste creation, we are mindful of our impact.

Last year we converted over 70% of the arisings and bi-products from our operations into Biomass used to power boilers (which provide electricity back into the national grid) with a further 20% being processed and sold on through our firewood and timber sales.

Talisman Tree Care are Environment Agency registered waste carriers, follow the waste hierarchy and always endeavour to reduce, re-use, recycle and recover before considering disposal.
